Date: Saturday, March 3 from 9:00am - 1:00pm

Beginning in November 2011, PBI will be screening all 3400 kindergartners in 47 IPS Schools! We will check for Amblyopia (lazy eye), Strabismus (misaligned eyes) and Visual Acuity. PBI will follow up with the families of students identified with high risk factors to determine if the child received a professional eye exam and/or needs help affording a visit.

NCAA Quality of Life Health Fair on Thursday, October 13
from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
On October 3, 2011, PBI held a training session for Volunteer Screeners. Three are completing the certification process, according to Prevent Blindness America standards.
